A Few 2016 Events in Jervis Bay
Each and every month brings something new and exciting to the area. 2016 will be no different. January is the height of summer, and a great time to get outside and explore. Many regional towns host weekly outdoor markets where you can shop for local crafts, produce, and other trinkets. At the end of the month, head to Berry to enjoy the annual Agricultural and Horticultural Show: a family event not to be missed. You can also enjoy the shows in Kangaroo Valley, Nowra, and Milton in February and March.
Athletes may want to be in the area for the Husky Long Course Triathlon Festival in late February, or head to the water in March for the Tilbury Classic Ocean Swim at Culburra Beach. If you aren’t interested in participating, join the large and lively crowd and cheer on your friends and neighbours.
There are many more outdoor events, competitions, festivals, and markets held throughout the following months, and late March will also play host to the Kidgeeridge Music Festival. Grab your tent and head out to the country for a few days of Australia’s best music.

Wildlife in 2016
We’ve got the majority of our tours up and running at the moment (in fact, we offer eco cruises 365 days per year). Dolphin cruises are available year round, showcasing one of our favourites, the bottlenose dolphin. Come meet the 70+ we’ve got living right here in the bay.
Tourists and locals alike can also enjoy our seal colony cruise, and our special summer offerings: the South Coast Passage and Summer Boom Netting. Take advantage of these now before they end for the season in April and May. In May, however, we’ll also welcome the return of our beloved humpback whales. Whale watching season 2016 will start again in May and continue until November.
