Visit The Husky Carnival This Summer

Are you looking for things to do in Huskisson this summer? If you are, you should check out the Huskisson Carnival. Open from the 26th December, 2017 to 28th January, 2018, the carnival is the perfect place to visit with your friends or with the whole family.

Location

The Huskisson Carnival is located at the Huskisson Playing Fields along Tomerong Street. Entrance to the carnival is free, but rides and other attractions require you to purchase tickets. Retro Roller Skating is new this year and sure to be a hit with all ages!

Rides and Games

Huskisson Carnival is home to a wide range of rides and games guaranteed to give you a great time. Whether you’re a complete adrenaline junky looking for rides that will thrill you and set your heart pumping, or just someone looking for a ride you can enjoy with your younger children, you can be sure to find exactly what you’re looking for. Here are some of the most highly recommended rides at Huskisson Carnival.

Body Rock
The aptly named Body Rock will take you from side to side and both clockwise and anticlockwise in a circular motion. Expect to experience high G-force at the top of each rotation, lifting you out of your seat for a split second before whisking you up and down in a rapid change of direction. If you want to experience what it’s like inside a tumble dryer, then you should check out Body Rock!

Dodgem Cars
One of the best family-friendly activities in Huskisson is a ride on the Dodgem Cars (or bumper cars). A theme park without these cars wouldn’t be complete, and a visit to Huskisson Carnival is your opportunity to get your kids to discover the joys of this carnival favourite!

Power Surge
For the adrenaline junkies, Power Surge is another ride worth checking out. With Power Surge, no ride is ever the same. It will sweep and rotate you as you rise to 20 metres above the ground. What’s more, each sat rotates freely, spinning you upside down and round and round. Make sure you have a strong stomach because this ride is certainly not for the faint of heart!

Events

Various events will also be held throughout the carnival, so it definitely is a great idea to check the website from time to time. For instance, the carnival will have the JB Lions Market Day on the 14th of January, wherein all proceeds of the sale of items will be donated to the Jervis Bay Lions Club for various charity works in Shoalhaven.

There will also be Monster Fireworks on the 6th January and Australia Day.
