Safety on a Jervis Bay Wild Eco Cruise

If you’re looking for an extraordinary day out in Jervis Bay, our array of eco cruise options are certain to fit the bill.

The Jervis Bay region is well-known in Australia as a place of beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, and a great connection with nature. Visitors come from all over to see our spectacular views, enjoy our turquoise waters, and perhaps most of all, to spot our wildlife.

At Jervis Bay Wild, we offer a number of different eco cruises and tours to showcase all of the local splendour. We serve thousands of guests every year and each one has a special and memorable experience.

One of the reasons we are able to do this year after year is our commitment to safety. Here’s what you can expect from us at Jervis Bay Wild.

Experienced, Knowledgeable Staff

We are a locally owned business with over 30 years of experience doing what we do. When you choose to hop on board an eco cruise with Jervis Bay Wild, you’re selecting a team with significant time spent on the water. All of our staff members and crew have extensive training in operating our vessels, safety procedures, and much more. We’re not only onboard to entertain and inform you, we are there to make sure the eco cruise is 100% safe and secure for every passenger.

Wildlife Safety

Jervis Bay Wild is a certified eco tourism business, which means we are committed to environmental sustainability, green practices, and taking steps to conserve our local area’s wildlife, cultural heritage, and natural habitats. When you experience an eco cruise with us, you’ll discover we’re not only dedicated to the safety of our passengers, but to the safety of our dolphins, fur seals, whales, sharks, bird life, and all species. These living creatures deserve our utmost care and respect, and we try to share that message with all who join us on a whale watch or eco cruise.

Safe Vessels

At Jervis Bay Wild, we operate two vessels for our eco tours and cruises. Both the Wild Essence and Port Venture are meticulously maintained, outfitted with a full range of safety gear, and fully and regularly inspected.
The Port Venture is a spacious catamaran with five viewing levels for our guests. This vessel in particular has been designed to meet the needs of visitors of all ages and abilities. For those with a physical disability or using wheelchairs, the boat has and level ramp for embarking and disembarking, and disabled amenities on board.

Safe Practices

When you cruise with us in Jervis Bay, you can be sure that our team upholds and adheres to all standard safety practices. We have specific procedures in which all of our staff are trained. When we set off into the bay, we always inform our guests of safety instructions and equipment. While your focus won’t be on safety during our secure and enjoyable cruise, you can be sure that your safety always remains our highest priority.
